After avian flu “lockdown” it was lovely to finally get some of the goslings out in the paddock enjoying the sun and grass, they are growing really quickly and starting to get their proper feathers now. We have a mix of Embdens, Legarth x, Dewlap toulouse and Brecon Buffs.
Our first beltie calf arrived in the lovely sunshine over the Easter weekend – a little dun heifer calf from our oldest cow called Surprise – this year our names will all start with a W – so this little one is called Waveney Willow! Thanks to Caroline Tillett Photography for the lovely photo.

April saw the arrival of the first of our 2020 beltie calves, the weather has been kind and they are enjoying sunning themselves down on Burgh Marshes with their Mum’s. All our calves get names and 2020 they all start with a “T” – so here we have Ted, Captain Tom and Twiglet.
